All OMEGA watches are delivered with a 5-year warranty that covers the repair of any material or manufacturing defects. Please refer to the operating instructions for specific information about the warranty conditions and restrictions.
Every OMEGA watch is warrantied for a period of sixty (60) months. It covers material and manufacturing defects existing at the time of delivery. During the warranty period and by presenting the valid warranty certificate, you will have the right to have any defect repaired free of charge. This includes the repair or replacement of any spare parts and/or rectifying any faults as identified by our Customer Service. In the event that repairs are unable to restore the normal conditions of use of your OMEGA watch, OMEGA guarantees its replacement by an OMEGA watch of identical or similar characteristics. The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear or damage caused by accidents or negligence. The warranty is rendered void if work is carried out on the watch by persons who are not authorised to do so by OMEGA.
OMEGA is proud to include the Swiss Made mark on all of its watches. This simple wording guarantees a standard of quality established over many centuries and is a world-renowned symbol of excellence.
The Speedmaster 38 mm collection has been crafted with simplicity, size and colour in mind, yet still retains the look and heritage of OMEGA’s most famous chronograph.
This model features a black varnished dial with a mat finish and rounded subdials. The hands are white varnished with white Super-LumiNova on the hour, minute and chronograph seconds hands.
A polished bezel with a black aluminium ring includes the legendary tachymeter scale with an emblematic “Dot Over Ninety” frames the dial on a polished-brushed stainless steel case.
Stamped with a Seahorse medallion on the caseback and driven by the OMEGA Co-Axial Calibre 3332, the watch is presented on a brushed stainless steel bracelet with polished small central links and OMEGA’s comfort release adjustment system.
Chronograph
The chronograph function is a mechanism for measuring time intervals. A chronograph watch can therefore be used to time events while displaying the time like any traditional watch.
Chronometer
Label given to a watch which has been successfully tested by an accredited and independent laboratory in order to receive a certificate compliant with the chronometer ISO 3159 standard.
Small seconds
A hand on a sub-dial which tracks seconds typically it completes a full rotation in one minute.
Tachymeter
A tachymeter watch has a function for measuring speed. It is a chronograph with a graduated dial on which speed can be read in kilometres per hour based on a 1000 metre distance.

1 / 3
Stainless Steel
Stainless steel is certainly the most conventional of watchmaking materials for outer craftsmanship, and offers beauty, strength and affordability. OMEGA uses 316L stainless steel. Known for its corrosion-resistance and high lustre after polishing, this material is often the ideal choice for watches in both daily-use and high-stress situations such as diving and adventure.
2 / 3
Aluminium
Aluminium has the advantage of being a truly lightweight material used for decorative components. Through anodisation, it offers an extensive range of colours for the creation of eye-catching watch parts such as bezel rings, applied elements on the dial, and hands. In particular, OMEGA’s special anodisation process has achieved aluminium bezel rings that are nearly double as hard as regular versions, therefore making them more resistant to outer damage.
3 / 3
Sapphire Crystal
To really appreciate the finer details of a timepiece, OMEGA uses synthetic sapphire crystal with a highly scratch-resistant and anti-reflective treatment. Before the machining and finishing processes take place, the sapphire crystals are produced under the Verneuil process, also called flame fusion. It involves the melting of the raw substance using oxyhydrogen flame and the crystallisation of the melted droplets to form a cylinder. Graded 9 on the Mohs-hardness scale (graded 1-10), the resulting sapphire crystals are virtually scratch-proof and very hard, ensuring an unhindered vision at all times.
